I heard the original version this song on WEQX radio show, EQXposure. I was immediately drawn to the vocal lines and likened the tone of her voice to an old favorite, This Mortal Coil. Sort of monotone yet emotive verse parts. So I reached out and was happy that Annie was into the idea of re-working this song. Once I dove in on remixing the tune, I found that pushing a chorus with synth lines and a pulsing beat really elevated the tune. Very happy with how this came out and hope Annie’s fans enjoy make take of “You Know”.
