Blur Beside You Project

Happy to announce a new shoegaze project I am involved with titled, Blur Beside You.

The first single, “I Stumble More Than Anything” is up on bandcamp now. Stream from the player above. So happy to be back making tunes with my friends Jim Wells and Joseph Butera. Last time we were together releasing music was with the band, Mindlikewater. Mindlikewater started in 1999 and continued on and off until 2011. We have a lot of history together. This time around, things are different in the best possible way. The 3 of us are on the same page. We just want to create great music. Recording at home, uploading files to Dropbox and communicating mostly via text and video chat was surprisingly effortless. We finished the record with analog tape master on the famed Studer A80. The results are astounding.

I think this is just the beginning for Blur Beside You. I think this is a sound and vibe we can continue to expand over time.
